Who we are
Wee Hours (“we”, “us”) makes the Wee Hours app for iPhone and Apple Watch, its companion apps for Even Realities glasses, and this website. Questions about this policy go to .
Using the app without an account
If you choose Use without an account, your log stays on your iPhone and never reaches our servers. Partner sync, the glasses app and AI assistant access need an account. When you sign in later, the entries already on your phone are uploaded to your new household.
What we collect, with an account
Account
- Your email address and the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google. If you use Hide My Email, we only see Apple's relay address.
- The display name you choose for yourself in the household, and the role you add if you want one (for example “Dad” or “Nanny”).
- Your account is a HEJI account: the same sign-in works in our other apps (such as Waypack). Each app keeps its own data, and Wee Hours never shares your household's log with them.
Your household's log
- Your baby's name and birth date, the categories you track and your settings (for example the usual bottle size).
- Each entry: what happened (for example “bottle finished, half”), when, who logged it, and from which device or assistant.
- For voice entries, the transcribed text and the model's confidence, so you can check what was heard. We don't keep the audio (see below).
- Who is on duty, and invites to join the household.
Everyone in a household can see and add to that household's log. Nobody else can: the database enforces this per household.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive your plan and when it expires. We never see your payment details.
Problem reports
If you shake your phone to report a problem, the report you send includes what you write, a screenshot of the app and your device and app version. Turn this off under Settings → Shake to report a problem. We only receive a report when you choose to send one.
Voice and audio
- iPhone and Apple Watch: speech recognition and understanding run on your iPhone. A recording from the watch goes to your paired iPhone. The audio is deleted as soon as it's transcribed, and it never reaches our servers.
- Even Realities glasses: the glasses can't run speech recognition, so a hold-to-speak recording is uploaded to your household's private storage. A phone in your household downloads it, transcribes it on the device and then deletes it from our storage.
- We don't run speech or AI models on our servers, and we never use your recordings, transcripts or log to train models.
AI assistants you connect
If you connect an AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) by signing in or with an access token, that assistant can read your household's log. If you allow it, it can also add entries. What the assistant's provider does with that data is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. You can disconnect assistants and revoke tokens at any time on your account page or in the app.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal data, or share it for advertising.
- The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
- This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, it keeps your session in your browser's local storage.
Service providers
We use these providers to run Wee Hours. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase stores accounts, household logs and glasses recordings (until they're processed).
- Cloudflare serves this website and the AI assistant (MCP) connection.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases. Google provides Sign in with Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your household's log until you delete it. Glasses recordings are deleted once a household phone has processed them. Problem reports are kept until the problem is resolved.
Your choices and rights
- Access and export: the timeline shows everything, and CSV export (in the app or on your account page) gives you a copy.
- Correct: undo any entry in the app and log it again.
- Delete: Settings → Delete all household data in the app, or the same button on your account page, permanently deletes the household's log, recordings, invites and tokens for everyone in the household. To delete your sign-in as well, email from the address on your account.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have more rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. Email us and we'll help.
Children
Wee Hours is for parents and caregivers. It holds information about a baby that a parent or guardian enters and controls. The app isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access tokens are stored only as hashes. The log is append-only, so a client can't silently change history.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
